Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the city ot Wilmington as fo'lloivs: Section 1. That any policeman who may be on his beat or acting under the orders of the Mayor or Marshal, whether by day or by night, shall be declared to be in the discharge ot duty, and any person who may violate the said section of said ordinance shall suffer the penalties thereby en forced, any ordinance to the contrary notwith standing.
