Olivet, one of his charges, last Sunday voted to support a native mis sionary in one of the foreign fields. f The young ladies are deserving of the commendations being .showered upon them. The bride, who is a daughter of Mr. R. M. Mills, has for some time been employed as a nurse at BUllngsley hospital. She ts a worthy young Wo man, whose friends extend their best wishes. Mr. Gillespie Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Gillespie who came to Statesville from the Elmwood com munity some time ago. He Is a young man of sterling qualities and stands VS11 with his associates.
