So far five townships, name i ly Haw River, Bear Creek, Williams, j Cape Fear and New Hope, have not organized. We again invite them to join this the greatest organization in existence for the advancement of Sun day School work, and we anxiously await your call for assistance in the organization or in any way we can be I of service to you. ! Please consider the following facts about the Interdenominatioinai Sun day School Association: 1 1. The North Carolina Sunday School Associatioin is a co-operative effort of Sunday School workers of the evangelical denominations to ex tend and improve Sunday School work .in North Carolina. It is the only or ' ganization in the State which aims to help all departments of every Sun day School and help organize denomi- national Sunday Schools in every com ; munity that has no Sunday School. 2. The organization stands for ■ those interests common to all Sunday r School workers., It is a systematic ef ;;fort of workers from the various de ■ f nominaitoins to create public senti , i ment in favor of more and better de ; nominational Sunday Schools. It > strives to help byway of suggestion, i not by authority; therefore it helps . many, it hinders none. r | 3. It seeks helpful co-operation, : 1 not union. Its conventions and insti i' tutes discuss methods of work, not | church doctrine. All meetings held ; under the auspices of the Association .! are free and open to all who will at . tend. • | 4. In its work the North Carolna ! Sunday School Association is interde ‘ nominational, for in its conventions . and institutes leaders from various de nominations take part. But in results it is denominational, for if a worker i} puts into use the methods discussed in these meetings, he increases the ef ficiency of his own denominational i Sunday School. 5. In territories where there are no Sunday Schools, the AfSociation does not suggest the organization of union Sunday Schools, but urges the' organization of denominational Sun-1 day Schools of the denomination pre- j ferred by the people in the commun ity. 6. The Association sells nothing, but is supported by free-will contri butions. It furnishes large quantities of free leaflets on better methods of Sunday School work, also maintains a circulating library of books on Sundav I school methods for the free use of any j Sunday School worker in the State, j Library catalog sent on application.
