The best known “anti knock” fuel is ESSO, the Giant Power Fuel. It is ac knowledged by engineers to be in a class by itself —a gen uine “anti-knock” fuel, spe cially made for use in high compression motors, and in motors that are carbonized from long usage. ESSO costs more to make and has to be sold at a small premium over “Standard" Gasoline, but ESSO gives an extra engine performance never before experienced. On sale only at the Silver ESSO Pumps with the ESSO Globes. -„ y ’t; ’ - y r A ITANP ARD 0I L GOMPAN JM.| E Y Creek and James L. kelson at home, j -She is also survived by one sister, | Mrs. W. L. Since the first automobile was built “Standard” has been —both in quantity and quality — the leader in the refining and supplying of this necessary ■ ' motor fuel. ‘ - This company has spent millions of dollars in research S 0 v work and in the development of new and better proc esses of making gasoline. What has been the result? Istandardl Just this —that you can depend on finding in every yJ gallon of “Standard” Gasoline these qualities: Edsy Starting —even in coldest weather. * Quick Acceleration —a necessary thing in .rafne. Power , Steady and Reliable— {or hill climbing and long hard runs. / v Mileage Efficiency —proved over and over by road ' tests in every type of car. Safety to Motor —a fuel th.'.t cannot possibly injure Mm «|3.j Complete Combustion —a fuel that burns cleanly, ‘ Si leaving practically no carl/on, and burns completely, f Ml !, leaving no “loose ends” to seep down and dilute the motor i ' oil in the crank case. ) A Uniformity— you can set your carburetor on “Standard” |Sf IRjj and forget it, for every gallon is like every other gallon \\ * wherever you buy it. \\ fmMt |M| j Availability —“Standard” Gasoline has the further ad- ’ £"1! vantage of being easily obtained, as our red “Standard” \\H casou|! pumps are conveniently located throughout the length Tikii m\ and breadth of this state. - This rare combination of qualities makes “Standard” the best all-*round gasoliie on the market. The fact Jfmmm tt\ that it outsells any other J>rand of gasoline in by more than 2to 1, is evidence of its superior ' r Use “Standard” Gasolinit and you will get “STANDARD ’’ i GASOLINE ' THE CHATHAM RECORD j Book of Mortgages No, 46 at Page! | 12<5 default having been made ini | the payment of the indebtedness | I thereby secured I will sell at public j 1 auction to the highest bidder for cash at the court house door of Moore County, N.
