CAROLINA i FOR YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31st;i!Ml IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY PAID YOUR JANUARY ASSESSMENT, ’ DO SO NOW! IMPORTANT We are asked the question from time to time relative to whether you should keep the insurance paid for those of our boys who are in the army—and the answer is al ways YES- A number of things could happen that would deprive them of obtaining insurance after serving their time in the army, and tw, there is alwaya some expense if something does happen, which will not be reimbuised by* the Government. Your son's insurance with us is worth $100.00 regardless of what the Government does about it if he is killed. The que.stion is often asked again. “Can you get our boy for ns if he is killed in service?" We trust that none of you will need us, but we CAN and WILL go any place within reason that you want us to go, and wo can collect from the Government the same as any other person who takes care of our boys from ouil community. Your problems are ours, and if for any reason your son in the army should want to get in touch with you, and you are not close by a telephone, just have him call or wire us and if the road is not open to your house, we will open it. , . . I assure you of my personal appreciation for your cooperation and friendship through every day that is past and I trust that regardless, of the clouds that now h^ug over ns that the sun will come through and 1942 will be the brightest year for you and yours.
