ices at the Wllkesboro chnrch on
Sunday morning we are announc
ing the worship In the Holy Sacre-
ment. At this service we will
make a very special offering to
our Children’s Home at Winston-
Salem. Our four to five hundred
fine boys and girls there will ap
preciate our Interest In them at
this sacred Christmas season.
A Christmas program entitled
"Candle In the Window” will be
presented at Wllkesboro Sunday
evening, 7:30.

On Christmas Eva there will be
an ail-church program at Wilkee-
 boro Baptist. There .will be
special music by the combined
adult and intermediate choirs un

Mitchell with Mrs. David Lowe as

The scriptural story ot Christ
mas will be read responsively by
the congregation. Two Christ
mas musical selections will be
rendered by the entire Junior be-
partment of the Sunday school.
The pastor will bring a brief mes
sage on the subject: "Christmas
Future!" At the close of the pro
gram there will be a Christmas
treat for the Sunday school under
the direction of T. B. Story, the
superintendent.

On Monday Night
On Monday, Dec. 26th, Christ
mas night, the "Vox Pop'’ radio
program, heard by approximately
18 million people, will dedicate a
broadcast to Shrlners’ Hospitals
for Crippled Children. This broad
cast will originate In one of the
wards of the Shrlners’ Hospital In
Philadelphia, and will be the focal
point of a nation-wide Christmas
party for children In Shrlners’
Hospitals everywhere to enjoy via
radio.
Parka Johnson and Warren
Hull, the famous conductors of the
"Vox Pop” program will Inter
view children who are undergoing
treatment in the Philadelphia
Unit, as well as doctors, nurses
and other people engaged In this
work. They will also mention the
names of some of the children and
nurses in other Shrlners’ Hospitals
and tie the whole activity togeth
er.
The Emerson Drug Company,
sponsors of the program, will pro
vide this show and its attendant
publicity without cost to Shrlners
in any way. Moreover, they will
provide at their own expense In-
