HRISTMAS, the glorious season, has shed its radi
ance over the world since the Star of Bethlehem il
luminated the skies as a beacon, calling to mankind to witness
the blessed Babe. And in God’s own Heaven, herald angels’
voices sweetly ring out in unison with the voices of the Church
choirs wherever they are free to sing His praises. The wonder of
Christ’s coming enthralls us: yet His most precious gift is the
true spirit of Love which finds its strongest expression in the dem
ocratic way of life to which we are dedicated. When we foster
liberty among all people we take our places deservedly as son§
and daughters created in His image, keeping aloft in deed the
glory of His word. •
