C Carrier Exam AtWilkesboro The United fltatee Civil Serv lce Commission has announced an examination to till the position ot rural carrier at Wilkes bo ro, North Carolina. The examination will be held at Wllkeeboro. Receipt ot applications will close on March 20, 1947. The date of examination will be stated on admission cards mailed, to ^applicants after the closing date for receipt of ap plications, and will be about 15 days after that date. The salary of a rural carrier on a standard dally route of 30 miles is $2020 a year, with an additional $20 a mile a year for each mile or major fraction thereof in excess of 30 miles.
