Baxter Kendall Is Claimed By Death Funeral service will be held Friday, two p. m., at Boomer Advent Christian church for Valus Baxter Kendall, 75, resi dent of the Boomer community who died Wednesday in the Bap tist hospital in Winston-Salem. Surviving Mr.. Kendall are two brothers and three sisters: C. H. and F. G. Kendall, Ferguson; Mrs. Floria Swanson and Mrs. Julia Swanson, Boomer; Mrs. Flossie Lackey, Hiddenite. o ? "She's My Daisy" ? At Mountain View Intermediate class of Rock Creek Baptist church will present a play, "She's My Daisy," at Mountain View school Friday night, -May 2, 7:30 o'clock. April Term Court Now In Session Nine divorces have been grant ed in the April term of Wilkes superior court which opened Monday. Judge H. Hoyle Sink, of Greensboro, is presiding. Cardwell Child Dies Funeral service was held today at Stony Hill church for Brenda Helen Cardwell, age 26 days, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Cardwell, of Parsonvilld.
