Baseball Try-Out
Lenoir Aug. 29-30
Lenoir.?Central Hi?h School
Field in Lenoir will be the scene
of a baseball try-out camp Fri
day and Saturday, August 29-30,
conducted by the World's Cham
pion St. Louis Cardinals, it has
been announced by D. Archie
Coffey, President of the Lenoir
Red Sox of the Blue Ridge
League.
The Cardinal System, ? which
has sent more young players to
the major leagues than any oth
er baseball organization, is send
ing two of its ace scouts to Le
noir to conduct the daily work
outs which will begin at 10 o'
clock each morning and continue
throughout the day. George Ter
rell, veteran scout, former minor
league player and manager and
the brother of Wes, now catch
ing with the Washington Sena
tors, will be in charge of the
camp. He will foe assisted by
Harrison Wickel, veteran scout
and former minor league player
and manager.
Every boy in this vicinity be
tween the ages of 16 and 23 is
invited to attend this camp and
permit the Cardinal scouts to
appraise his ability. As evidenced
by the experience of scores of
boys all over the country who
were signed to contracts on the
basis of their performance at
trial camps last year, attending
such a camp is one of the quick
est and surest ways to get started
on a career in professional base
ball for those who qualify. All
boys should bring their own
gloves and baseball shoes, and
uniforms if they have them. Any
?player signed to a contract will
be reimbursed for all expenses
incident to attending the camp.

suffer acid indigestion after meals
and soon got to where I had to be I
very careful about my diet, but
even this didn't seem to help much.
My appetite left me, and so much
gas formed in my stomach I al
ways felt uncomfortable. I slept
poorly, I woke up feeling worn out
and constipation kept me taking
strong laxatives. 1 felt all fagged
out and nothing seemed to give me
worth-while help."
"A relative recommended Re

I sleep soundly and get up feeling
rested and fresh. The sluggish
elimination is relieved and I feel
better and stronger than in two
years. It would be hard to praise
Retonga enough".
