Smith, his wife, 23, and their four-year-old son died instantly when a Southern Railroad train bound from Charlotte to Win ston-Salem struck their autb at a backwoods crossing. Fireman J. H. Department of Agriculture reporting about 29 per cent more turkeys raised this season than in 1948, heavy turkey marketings in November are expected to cause both whole sale and retail prices to drop be low those of a year ago, Mrs. Annie H. The plaintiff is Earl A. Craw ford, 41, and the defendant is Quinn T, Crawford, 49. They are brothers. The younger Crawford accuses the defendant of inducing his wife to abandon him and her four children. In his complaint, Earl Craw ford Bays his wife is no longer living with him.
