AIR FORCE ASK VOLUNTEERS J FROM QUALIFIED RESERVISTS Officers and Airmen of the United States Air Force Reserve who hold needed military occupational specialities may apply for extended active duty for $ period of one (1) year through their reserve unit having charge of their records. Reserve officers will be asked to perform their duty in the grade held prior to separation. Former officers who are not currently in a reserve status may apply, If otherwise eligible, for reinstatement of commission. Former enlisted men not in a reserve status may be enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve in grade held at time of discharge if otherwise eligible. Civil ians with or without prior military service who qualify under current regulations may submit applications for commission in the United States Air Force Reserve to the' appropriate geographical Air Force. Officers of the Reserve and Air National Quard desiring recall under these provisions should make application for active duty to the Commanding General of the numbered Air Force in the .United StateB which currently is in charge of their records. Airmen who are presently assigned t6 a Reserve unit should (apply for recall to active duty through their unit commander; while those who have experience as former members of the Air Force but who are not active in the civilian component of the Air Forces should reenlist by making application at the nearest ArmyAir recruiting station.
