Miss Ruth King Wood, 'director of religious education of the local Presbyterian church, will serve as a counselor at the camp, after which she will leave for a three weeks | vacation. Dr. and Mrs. H. B. Smith and Mrs. J. S. Deans spent Sunday and Monday at Brevard and Cherokee, and with their daughters, Miss Ann Smith and Miss Carolyn Deans, attended a performance of the pageant, "Unto These Hills" at Cherokee, Sunday evening. The girls, who had been at the Transylvania Music Camp for six weeks, came home with them. Mrs. George Verdone, who has been seriously ill the past week at the Charlotte Memorial Hospital, is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. Rufua B.
