House on Friday, in favor of the bill It

Legislature can hesitate for a moment in
granting the; assistance prayed for, either
hy this Company or that of the Raleigh
and Uaston Rail Road, considering the gur-
antee of indemnity which is offered. The
Ust interests of the State reqtnrelt, and
they frhould be held to a strict accountabil
ity who oppose such salutary and whole
some measures of legislation.
