Jiiot at Mobile. We are in armed that this place, too, has Hen the scene of a riot. They were obliged (j leave Mobile. A O. Amer. Crops at the South. The hea vy rains and continued wet weath er lor some weeks past, have done considerable injury to the Cotton am! Sugar crops of the South. The New Orleans Bul letin of the 10th says, the rains have so much injured the Cotton crops of West Florida, that many planters had entirely abandoned their cotton fields. The Corn crops in that region were, howev er, represent as abundant. With regard to the sugar crops, the Bulletin estimates the product of the present year, in Louisiana, at about half an average cron. A few days since we published the fact ol a Mr. Henderson having com mitted suicide in Charlottesville, a. It was stated that he had re cently married a beautiful and ; accomplished young lady, and that no cause could be assigned lor the rash act. It now appears that Henderson left borne a few days before the fatal occurrence, for Richmond, with two thousand dollars, to purchase furniture. On his arrival there he was inveig led into the company of black legs, who soon cleared him out. And with what I have learned here, and with the assistance of my book, can execute any job of work in a neater style than ever has been done about here. As I am now capable of carrying-on the business I would be very thank ful to the people to employ me; and if my work does not prove to be better formed, stronger and ni cer than any that has ever been done by any brick mason in this section, I will not charge any thin" for my work, and will do it on as reasonable terms as could be expected.
