January 1st, 1S40. 2 WOULD refer the reading public to the numerous voluntary letters publish ed recently in this paper and in the Good Samaritan, relative to the happy and bene ficial elite's of ihe administration of Asm! Plicnix ISiUrs. Those who have perused the letters above referred to will observe that in al most every case they attest the fact, that no inconvenience of any sort attends the taking of these Medicines, inordinary ca ses, Imi that the patient, without feeling. their operation, is universally lefl in a stronger and belter state of health than was experienced preiotis to being afllict ed wiih disease; and in all cases of acute e(lViinii, great relief is obtained in a few boms, and a cure is generally ellccled in two or three days. So case of F EVE II of every descrip tion, and all bilious alilctions, it is unne cessary for me to say ought, as I believe the Life Mt divines are now universally ad- milled lo he the most speedy and ellectual cure extant in all diseases of that class. The LIFE MEDICINES are also a most excellent rnlief in afioc lions of the Liver and Dowels, as has been proved in hundreds of cases where patients have come forward and requested that their ex perience in taking them might be publish ed lor the benefit of others. In llieir ope ration in .such cases, they restore the lone of the stomach, strengthen the digestive organs, and invigorate the general func tions of ihe whole body, and thus become to both sexes (for they are perfectly adapt ed to each) an invaluable means of pre venting disease and restoring health. In ahvetions of the head, whether ac companied with pain and giddiness, or milked by the grievous calamity of im paired nvmtal energy; in palpitations ol ihe heart, flatulence, loss of appetite and strength, and the multiplied symptoms of disordered digestion, the Life Medicines will be found to possess the most salutary efficacy. Constitutions relaxed, weak, or decay ed, in men or women, are under the imme diate influence of the Lite .Medicines. Old coughs, asthmas, aihd consumptive habits are soonTelieved and speedily cu red, loverly of blood, and emaciated limbs will ere long meet the happiest change; ihe chill watery fluid will become rich and balsamic, and the limbs be cov ered with flesh, firm and heallhy. Nervous disorders of every kind, and from whatever cause arising, fly before And all lhat train of sinkings, anxieties, and tremours which so dreadfully afiVct ihe weak, ihe' sedentary, and the delicate, will in a short lime be succeeded by cheer fulness, and every presage of health. For weakness, deficiency of natural strenqtb, and relaxation of the vessels, by 100 frequent indulgence of ihe passions, this medicine is a safe, certain, and invalu able remedy. Those who have long resided in hot cli males, and are languid and relaxed in iheii whole system, may take the Life Medi. cines with the. happiest t fleets; and per sons removing to 1 lie Southern' Stales or West Indies, cannot store a more import ant anicle of healih and life. The following cases are among tin most rpceut cures effected, and gralefulh acknowledged by tbe persons benefitted: Case of Jacob C. Hunt, New Windsor, Orange county, N. Y. A dreadful tu mour destrov ed nearly the whole of his face, nose and jv.v. Experienced quick relief from the use of the Life Medicines, and in less than three months was entire ly cured. Thousands of persons afflicted in like manner, have, by a judicious use of I A ib Tills &, Fhesiix Kilters, !eeu restored to the enjoyipents of all the comforts of life. The Uilters are pleasant lo the taste and smell, gently astringe the fibres of the stomach, and giv e that proper tensity which a good digestion requires. As nothing can be better adapted lo help and nourisdi the consiiiution, so there is nothing more generally acknowledged to be peculiarly eliicacious in all inward was tings, loss of appetite, indigestion, depres sion of spirits, irembliug or shaking of the hands and limbs, obstinate coughs, short ness of breath, or consumptive habits. The Life Medicines possess wonderful ellicacy in all nervous disorders, fits, head aches, weaknesses, heaviness anil lowness of spirits, dimness of sight, confused thoughts, wandering of ihe mind, vapors and melancholy, and all kinds of hysteric complaints are gradually removed by their use. In sicklies of ihe stomach, flatulen cies, or obstructions, they are safe and powerful, and as a purifier of the blood, they have not their equal in the world!
