Both methods satisfactory for keeping eggs good sot home use from 4 to 6 months. When eggs are high this fall, eat the preserved ones and sell the fresh ones. Use fresh, clean eggs. Dissolve 1 quart sodium silicate -water-glass- in 9 quarts water that has been boiled and cooled. Place mixture in large crock or jar. * ~ Place eggs in it, cover with waxed paper and place in cool, dry place. Solution should cover eggs two inches. Try this method out —it pays. John W.
