Miss Addie Daniel will attend Duke summer schoel this summer. Miss Esther Gibbs is in St. Luke’s hospit al for treatment. The Tryon summer school started Mon day morning with nearly forty pupils en rolled. Mrs. Preston is teaching. Mrs. R. B. Peattie and little Miss Hope vjlogers leave Friday for New England to visit this summer. Attending the graduation exercises of Weaver college where Miss Alice '■Edwards will be ’graduated are Mrs. Chas. Elrod of Spartanburg, Misses Clara and Irene Edwards and guest Miss Gray of Rutherfqrdron.
