Revival services are being held
this week at Cooper’s Gap con
ducted by the Rev. R. L. Crawford
of Spindale assisted by the Rev.
Mr. Buckner of Buck Creek, S. C.

Miss Blanche Melton of Ashe
ville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.
M. Melton of Cooper’s Gap was
married Monday in Asheville to Mr.
Clarence Jackson, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Belton Jackson of Mill Spring,
route two. The young couple are
making their home in Cooper Gap
where the groom is in the farming
and lumber business. The bride
was a member of the Sunny View
graduating class of 1936.
