RECEPTION FOR TEACHERS' ‘ On Thursday afternoon from 4:30 to 6 o’clock at Sunnydale a reception—tea is to be given for the teachers of the' Tryon school by the Parent-Teacher Association. Every one, young and old, is cor dially invited to come. Miss Geraldine £>ayre left on Sunday to resume her work at the Washington, N. C., school. Mrs. Hague Kiser was taken to the Presbyterian Hospital at Char lotte on Shnday for treatment. She will be there a week or ten days. ■t Dr. and Mrs. C. C.
