GdrT FRIED—SHUFORD A marriage of interest to many friends in the Carolinas was per formed today noon at the bride’s home, “Weaverbarton”, when Miss Helen Gottfried of Tryon was wed to Mr. Robert Lee Shuford, 'Jr., of Newton, N. C. The ceremony was performed by Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln, pastor of the Erskine Memorial Congregational church. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. C. M. Gottfried and of the late Mr. Gottfried. She was educated at Vassar college and Massachu setts State college. Upon gradua tion she entered the dairy busi ness in Tryon and received state wide recognition for her achieve ment in this work. Mr. Shuford is associated in business with his father, prominent Catawba dairy man, and stockman, who was a pioneer in the dairy industry of North Carolina. Weaverbarton was attractively decorated for tl\e event. The cere mony was performed on the lawn. A wedding breakfast was served in the home following the cere- Amazing! Amazing!
