During the patrol meetings the
members planned for a hike on
Saturday. The patrol leaders re
ported to their leader after the
patrol meetings and the plans for
the hike follow: Meet at Missil
dine’s drug store Saturday morn
ing at 9:30 o’clock; hike to the
entrance to Pearson’s Falls and
turn to the right to Pacolet River;
have lunch on some large rocks
near the river not far from the
entrance to the falls; each girl
carry the food she likes.
The chaperones will be Mrs.
J. S. Kell, Mrs. C. H. Helms and
Miss Edith Preston.
The Girl Steouts and their lead
ers wish to express their apprecia

nity for the interest and cooper
ation they have received. They

AN ORDINANCE TO RESTRICT THE OP
ERATION OF THE FIRE TRUCK TO THE
LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF TRYON AND
TO PROHIBIT THE SAME FROM RE
SPONDING TO CALLS OUTSIDE OF THE
TOWN LIMITS.
The Commissioners of the Town of Try on do ordain:
Section 1: That the fire truck for the Town of
Tryon shall not be used in responding to calls beyond
the City Limits.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect
on the first day of November, 1938, and shall continue
in force thereafter.
Section 3: That all ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
