WANTED: A few directions.
About a month ago we had an
enthusiastic Civilian Defense meet
ing, where we were told to save
all waste paper, metal cans, rags,
bones, rubber, wire, milk bottle
tops, boxes (paste board) —in
short about all that goes to the
usual waste places. These things,
to be used in seme fashion for
National Defense, were to be col
lected, kept clean, and stored until
further notice. No notice has been
forthcoming, and our storage space
is limited. Many cf us would be
glad to know what plan—if any—
is being worked out for taking
care of the valuable hoard.
