Girls’ Auxiliary House Party Young people from the Tryon First Baptist church were given the inspiration of association with 338 other young people of Wes tern North Carolina at the Ridge crest house party, under the lead ership of missionaries from Cuba, China;, and Hungary and mission ary leaders of the state. The day’s schedule included mission study, music, swimming, hiking and shuffle board. The following attend ed: Mrs. B. G. Henry, Anne Hoots, Emily Rose Brantley, Beth Cook sey, Lavinia Greene, Martha Bishop, Virginia and Eleanor Henry and Julia Lankford. „ The Royal Ambassador camp opened with as much interest. Missionaries from China, Mexico and Hungary are spending days of fellowship with the boys of the Baptist churches. Billy Hoots ana Stanley Spangle rep resented Tryon.— (Contributed).
