If so, please get in touch with E. F.. Nanney. He will arrange to get it shipped. A good guard dog wili take the place of six men and probably save many lives. These dogs get one and one-half hours work each day until they are trained, which is around two weeks. These dogs become the property of tne gov ernment and after the war will be kept to raise from. You can help in winning the war in many ways: (a) give a dog; (b) your .service as a trainer, or (c) money, if you care to write Dogs For Defense, Inc., 22 E. 60th Street, New York City. Now let’s give a good dog to the service if we can’t go ourselves. Requirements: The dog must be a ehred of his kind, r<> papers _ required; must be sound wealthy; between the age of one and three yars; vaccinated against rabies; shaped up for a trip; then shipped to different places for training for his special duty. I have one fine dog to give the service and I would like to ship several. I feel that we have many good dogs that would mean a world of good service in the army.
