Hal Bonner, and will visit her mother for several weeks after which she will return to Tryon and continue the business of her late husband. During Mrs. Richardson’s absence her hopie on Lake Lanier will be occupied by friends. Miss Molly Johnson, student at Converse college and classmate, Miss Betty Allen of Charlotte, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Condict. Billy Helms spent the weekend with Jock Blois at Tuxedo. Mrs. Volney Barnette, who teaches at Simpsonville, S. C., spent the weekend with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Ash more, at Landrum. Mr. and Mrs. Otis West have returned to Charleston, S. C., af ter a visit with Mrs. West’s moth er, Mrs. John Orr. The Woman’s Auxiliary of the Tryon Presbyterian church will meet Tuesday at 3:45 with Mrs. H. L. Fite.
