WALGREEN AGENCY Dr. Harry Placack, the noted Cleveland chemist, has arrived to make his home in Tryon and until his laboratory is built he will stay at the home of his nephew, Frederick Placack, on Skyuka road. C. J. Lynch left this morning on the bus for Marion, N. C., where he will judge the McDowell Coun ty Horse Show. Third Grade: The third grade will present at the assembly hour Friday, October 23, a play, “Cin derella.” Everyone in the grade will take part. The characters are: Cinderella, Emily Shelton; step mother, Margaret Johnston; step sisters, Mary Sue Hipps and Jean Capps; fairy godmother, June Buckner; prince, Vance McCown; messenger ,Alan Mebane; soldiers, Calvin Whitesides and Roy Black well; ladies, Evelyn Burrell, Vir ginia Gosnell, Elizabeth Kuyken dall, Elllen Moss, Barbara Pow ell, Mary Pressley and Eima Turner; gentlemen, Richard Ale wine, Carlos Burns, John Camp, James Cowan, George Day, Mack Kuykendall, Jack Martin, Charles Mills, John Parker, Marion Rhodes, Mack Rollins and Mike Glover; announcers, Wiley White and Bill Goodwin.
