Chairman Harry Bridgeman of

mittee stated this morning that
most of the bulbs had been strung
on the trees and that the commit
tee hoped to have the trees lighted
tonight.

Carroll Roeers spoke to the Ki-i
wanis Club Tuesday at Oak Hall
Hotel and told the highlights of his
recent trip to Europe. Mr. Rogers
was. particularly impressed with
the way the British were attempt
ing to get their country on a sound
financial basis again. The speaker
told of the many beautiful and
historical places in Europe, but
felt that no1 country on earth was
blessed with scenery and • people
