CREASMAN HONORED 1 W. W. Creasman, Tryon Volun teer Observer is one of 31 North Carolinians who is being honored by Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer and the chief of the U. S. Weather Bureau Dr. F. W. Reich elderfer in recognition of their more than 20 years service as ob servers. The Washington officials will write £hem a letter of appreciation and give each a copy of a book “The Co-Operative Weather Ob server.” “Operating with simple standard gauges and thermometers provided by the Weather Buerau, the co operative weather observer, re gardless of the severity of the weather which he is to record, each day makes his readings and records them on a special form which he mails to Weather Bureau section offices once a month.” FORUM If you are interested in the United Nations and its agen cies, come to the FORUM on TUESDAY EVENING, DEC. 11TH.
