White Oak Terrace was honored Thursday, January 24th by a visit from the President of Health Care Facilities Associa tion, Don Angell. Mr. Angell is winding up in the next few weeks the “Presidential Tour” that has taken him into all member homes of the Association through out the state. Doris Cole, Administrator welcomed everyone to the facility and Mrs. Gwen Butler, D.N.S. introduced all guests. Mr. Angell had a message about Health Care in North Carolina and a special message for White Oak Terrace. Mrs. Emma Shimmel and Mrs. Estelle Huffman presented Mr. Angell will mementos made by the residents. These will be exhibited at the State Fair in Raleigh later this year. Also, Miss Ruth Kellogg presented a gift for Mr. Angell made by the residents. A reception was given in The Presidents honor.
