There will also be a Variety Auction to be held at the Green Creek School at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 8 p.m. the Tryon Concert Association presents Gellert Modos, pianist. Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. is the Ham or Chicken Supper at the Pea Ridge Club House. Bloodmobile At Landrum Mills Landrum Mills held its third Industrial Red Cross Blood- mobile visit on Monday, January 28th. Fifty pints of blood were collected from the fifty-seven donors. From a background of more than 20 years in the library field, Mr. Grey will describe what it is like to be a librarian in Polk County. Art Swedenborg is in charge of the program. Guests of honor will be the winners of the annual DAR American History Essay Contest, their parents, teachers and judges for the contest. Arthur D. Cree, a member of the St. Andrews Society, will give a slide presentation of his visit at St. Andrews University in Scotland. Hostesses for the meeting will be Mrs. William M.
