A native of Polk Cohnty, she is a daughter of the Rev. Frank King and the late Hattie Wilkins King. She was a member of Garrison Chapel Baptist Church. Also surviving: sisters, Mrs. Marie Eaves and Mrs. Dovie Turner of Rutherfordton, Miss Mattie King of Ann Arbor, Mich, and Miss Ella Mae King of Mill Spring; brothers, Theodore King of Tryon, Joe King of Arlington, Va , Johnny King of Toledo and James King of Asheville. Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Garrison Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Cannon and Sons Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Opens Bank In Australia CHARLOTTE, N. C. - North Carolina National Bank will become the first bank in the Southeast to open an office in Australia. NCNB President Hugh McColl said today that approval of a representative office in Sydney, New South Wales, has been given by the treasurer of Australia and the governor of the Australian Reserve Bank. It is expected to be in operation by April 15. McColl said the Sydney office “will be the key to our providing much better financial services to our U.
