The Carolina Baptist Associa tion will sponsor a Bold Evangelism Rally tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Mud Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Victor G. Cole, director of the Department of Evangelism Development for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina will be the speaker. Dr. Cole will led a church evangelism workshop Tuesday at 10a.m. at the Main Street Baptist Church in Hendersonville. A repeat workshop will be held at 7:30 p.m. EXHIBIT SUNDAY Tryon Crafts will present its 11th Annual Exhibit Sunday, March 30th from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Gallery of the Tryon Fine Arts Center. A reception will be held in the Mural Room. The Gallery will be open daily, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 to 4 p.m. The Exhibit will continue through Thursday, April 24th. Tryon Hounds Wednesday 9 a.m. Fairview Farm Saturday Vanna’s Field Kennedy Graduates Summa Laude Spartanburg, S. C — Pamela Bartol Kennedy, daughter of Mrs. Henry G. Bartol of Tryon, graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian from the Director of Chiropractic degree program at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic on Saturday, March 22. Ms. Kennedy obtained her pre chiropractic credits at Colby Junior College in New London, N. H. and completed her A.B. degree at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, R.I. As a part of her chiropractic studies, Ms. Kennedy served an externship with Drs. Bruce and Judy Ehlich, of Chesnee, S. C. Ms. Kennedy was one of 15 students granted the Doctor- of Chiropractic degree in the Saturday evening ceremony. Mrs. Jerry Blackburn (Carole) has returned to Tryon from Salem College, Winston-Salem, N. C. She was there to participate in the first Alumnae College to be held for Salem alumnae. On that date the Trout Unlimited Fly Fishing School will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fireman’s Club pond which, via Rt. 191, is about two miles west of Hendersonville, down a well marked lane about 100 yards east of Corn’s Outlet Store. Those who attended the same school in Tryon on the 15th called it, "the best $5 value they ever had." If you want to learn the art of fly fishing, mail your $5 check, payable to "Pisgah Chapter, Trout Unlimited, to Dr. Arthur Jensen, 2832 Kanuga Road, Hendersonville, giving name, address and telephone number. Your reservation will be con firmed, giving directions and all other essential details. The modest profit, after cost of literature for the kits and mailing expense, goes to support Trout Unlimited stream conservation projects.
