He said that the swine operation has added two lagoons and the water is constantly aerated. He said that he had not volunteered to set up inspection tours of the facility, but only agreed to take messages by phone to deliver to the pork operation, as he himself had nothing to do with the operation. If you're on a picnic check to see that there is sufficient ice left in the cooler to keep left overs safe and cool till you get home. Mrs. Allie Alverson Mrs Allie B. Alverson, 76, wife of L. L. Alverson of Ht. 1, Campobello, S. C. died Thursday in Spartanburg General Hospital. A daughter of the late Melvin and Elzie Morrow Brady, she was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Campobello Baptist Church. Also surviving: son, David Alverson of Orangeburg, S. C.; daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Pope of Princeton, N. J.; brother, Raymond Hines of Spartanburg; sisters, Mrs. Callie Link of McCormick, S. C., Mrs. Bessie Christopher. Petty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
