He was born in Chicago, Ill and was a son of the late William and Laura Terwilliger Ingwersen. He was a former Vice President of J. Walter Thompson Advertising Co. and had made his home in Tryon for the past 17 years. Mr. Ingwersen was active in Tryon Fine Arts and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross. He had served as president of the Gillette Woods Assoc. He made many posters for the Tryon Little Theater and had exhibited his water colors at the Fine Arts Center. Wisconsin and Robert Dean Ingwersen of Sunbury, Pa.; one brother, Don Ingwersen of Chicago, III.; two sisters, Mrs. Everett Franks of Haines City, Florida and Mrs. Frances Gabriel of Mesa, Calif.; also five grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. Memorial services were held al3p.m. Sunday at the Episcopal Church of Holy Cross with the Rev. Dudley Stroupe officiating.
