The Board gave school employees an 8 percent salary raise and the rising cost of fuel were a factor in the higher budget. Although the budget was up nearly $500,000. the district’s mileage will actual ly decrease by one mill due to 1980 assessed valuation and State Finance Act funding increases. Young children will get a break at the football games next fall. The new district policy provides that children under junior high school level will attend football games free, junior high students will pay $1, high school students $1.50 and adults $2.50.
