NOTICE In the General Court of Justice Superior Court Division State of North Carolina County Of Polk IN THE MATTER OF THE ABANDOMENT OF: Anthony Scott Reid and Charles Allen Reid To Tony Eugene Reid: Take notice that A pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above entitled special proceed ing. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: To have the Court determine and declare that you have willfully abandoned Anthony Scott Reid and Charles Allen Reid within the meaning of the laws of adoption and thereby forfeited the right of consent or withhold consent for the adoption of said children. You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than July 28, 1980 and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the Court for the relief sought. We discussed future plans for National 4-H Week and the State Project for this year — “IOU 4-H ” ’ Recently, the Council sponsor ed 4-H Olympic Field Day in the county. The turnout was great. Several members went on to compete in the District Compe tition. Those winning were: Debbie Edney, 2nd place 50 yd. dash; Thomas White, 2nd place 50yd dash, 4th place 220yd. dash; Bruce Owens, 3rd place 220 yd dash, 3rd place running long jump. Bruce and Thomas will travel to State competition and will receive a small scholarship to cover their expenses.
