The bridge was built by the Polk County Jaycees with Lumber donated bv Ruff Lumber Co. "SWIM SUIT COMPETITION" That special timeof year for bare limbs is at hand And I don’t mean December and tree branches, understand, — —But people at beaches...and swimming — and such; Yet I find that my "hide" can’t take hot sun that much! While most people look fine in their scanty swim suits Some look better fully clothes, but why invite disputes? Oh. 1 guess this is just an old idea of mine For 1 know they’re all entitled to equal sunshine. I enjoy the beach early, before the crowd gets out, And 1 look for sea shells which the tide spreads about. I rarely wear my swim trunks and one reason I'm ag’in' ’em Is ’cause my legs resemble grass ropes wth some knots tied in ’em! TH’ CHIEF If the 1980s prove to be a normal decade for tornadoes in the United States, at least 7,000 of the violent windstorm will strike the nation, causing as many as 1,000 deaths. Most fruits have seeds on the inside, but the strawberry's tiny, yellow seeds grow on the outside. The red "berry" is actually an enlarged part of the plant’s stem, National Geographic World magazine says. Federal law requires that all The annual Pe rcentag ® I^ might be as low as 12 or as high as 36 percent. THIS IS THE LAW Sponsored by The Lawyers of North Carolina DYING WITHOUT A WILL There is no legal re quirement that everyone have a will. The laws of North Carolina provide who your heirs will be and how your property is to be divided among them if there is no will. You might say that the state makes a will for you. For example, if a person dies without a will, leaving a spouse and children, the surviving spouse would take everything if the estate is no more than $15,000.00. If it is more, the children would share in the estate. Another example would be a single person who dies without a will, sur vived by both parents and a sister. In this case, the parents would inherit all the property, and the sister would receive noth ing. Of course, a will could change these results, ac cording to the desires of the person making the will.. North Carolina public libraries have free pamph lets on the subject of wills, published by The Lawyers of North Carolina. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooqc Watch Your Grocery Bills Decrease...
