All former and honorary members are invited Members are reminded to bring a small Christmas decoration to be taken to the nursing homes and hospital Polk Girls And Landrum Boys Win The Polk Central girls and the Landrum boys won Tuesday night at Polk Central High School The Polk Central girls upped their record to 3-0 as they won 60 to 47. The Landrum boys won a hard fought contest 66-62. Dina Smith scored 24 points. Tawana Rickman 13 and Christa Pack 10 as three Polk Central girls scored in double figures. The Landrum girls who lost their opening game were led by Marylou Thomson with 18 points. Leading the Landrum boys to victory in their opening game of the season were Ricky McDowell with 15 points and Todd Hardin with 10 points. Leading the Polk Central scoring attack were Mack Simpson with 19 points and Randy Petty adding 17. The Polk Central boys are now 1-2.
