Another Bus
To Be Chartered
For State Finals
Athletic Director G.M. Tennant
reports that one bus is full for the
basketball finals on March 20th
and that if there are enough
people wanting to go, another bus
will be chartered to go to the
Greensboro Coliseum. The cost
will be $12.05 per person and does
not include the cost of admission
to the game which is $3 nor the
cost of meals.
Reservations may be made by
paying the $12.05 to Coach G. M.
Tennant in the office at Tryon
High School no later than Friday
March 13. The bus will leave from
the parking lot at Tryon High
School at 1 p.m. and return to
Tryon immediately after the
basketball game It is expected
the bus will arrive back in Tryon
at 1 a.m. on March 21st.

Tryouts Saturday
Tryouts for Senior League will
be held at Harmon Field on
Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 pm.
Any young person who will be 13
yrs. old by August 1 and who will
not be 16 yrs old before August 1
will be eligible to tryout.
All who are already on a team
from last year are requested to
report to Harmon Field
Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m
Most of the Senior League
games will be scheduled to be
played at Harmon Field on
Thursday and Saturday nights.
Should tryouts be rained out on
the above date, they will be held
Sunday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m.
