MNMMMflMBMBMB^Ki Tryon Daily Bulletin, Tues., Mar. 21. IM TLT Goofs Reported Church Women The TLT Reporter announcing the cast for “The Importance of Being Earnest” consulted the wrong person when he asked for information. Going to the director of the two Hellman plays, Homer Brice stated thal Pam Palmer had made her debul in “Another Part of the Forest' as Regina. He evidently had forgotten that the year before in “The Little Foxes” Pam had done the stunning 16 year old Alexandria, Regina's daughter. And who could have forgotten that Lee Miller had directed this season’s sparkling “The Philadelphia Story". And Dean Campbell had nobly appeared as Mike therein. But to compound the felony the reporter left one character out of the cast. Ed Ryerson will make a Hitchcockian appearance as Moulton, the footman. Not only will he appear but he has designed two striking sets, one of a drawing room, the other a walled garden. Remember a few of the intricate and beautiful sets Ed has designed — the porch and patio set with pines, magnolia trees and a glimpse of the sprarkling sea for "Sabrina Fair”, the antiseptic loft for "Generation", the living room and antic doctor's offices for “Harvey", the facade and garden for "APOTA". That he would get relatives and friends to load their car trunks with spanish grey moss from Hilton Head and bring it back was a minor miracle — but we're used to those from Eddie. The sets are under construction now with Ed Glenn in charge of the crew. While they work busily on stage, one level below Jessie Wiltshire, costume chairman, is hunting through our costumes for appropriate styles and sizes. As usual with TLT. one play is over and the set is struck and props put away. Another play begins its struggles to become the polished, smooth production we pride ourselves on. TLT’s work is never done! — TLT Reporter Drawings On Exhibit Ms. Barbara Jackson of Tryon will display her pencil and chalk drawings in the side window at NCNB in Tryon from March 2? through April 5tn. This wil be a coffee and council meeting All interested women are invited. Storm Creates Traffic Jam The surprise snow storm Sunday created a traffic jam on I- 26. Trucks and cars going I-26, found the going almost impossible as the icy road conditions caused trucks to jack knife and cars to spin. Motorists filled the Heaven's View Motel, the Saluda truck stop and the Saluda Volunteer Fire House.
