Fine Arts Center
And Farwell Annex
In case you are wondering
about the transformation of the
grounds at the Fine Arts Center
and the Farwell Annex, the Gay
Blades Garden Club has donated
the funds and Mary Reese, Doris
Lackey, Paul Culberson and
many others, so dedicated, have
provided the back breaking labor
to establish a new look. Sod will
be replaced with chips, and wild
flowers and plantings are being
moved from one garden to
another to provide a more
uniform appearance. The Arts
and Crafts and Painters and
Sculptors have a new path
through the wildflower garden
for easy access back and forth
from one building to another and
the end result should be one of
complete uniformity. Weather
permitting, Wednesday, April
8th will be the day for the "Labor
of Love." — Reporter
