Footprints In Time
Apr. 22 is the date set for O.P.
Earle Elementary School’s third
annual school play. The play will
be presented at Landrum High
School’s Walden Gymnasium at
8:00 p.m. and admission is free.
“Footprints In Time”:
Highlights from the History of the
Landrum Area is an original play
with a cast of seventy-five
kindergarten through sixth grade
students. Preparations for the
play began in September and will
climax with scenes which will be
enjoyed by all who love the areas
of Hogback Mountain, Glassy
Mountain, Skyuka, White Oak,
and Landrum. — Reporter

Jackson and their mother, Mrs.
Gertrude Champion, all of
Columbus have returned from
Madison, N.C. where they visited
Fred Champion.
Sherer Elected
Student Body Pres.
Jeff Sherer, a rising senior at
Tryon High School has been
elected President of the student
council for the school year 1982-
83. In addition to being active in
student affairs Jeff is a member
of the varsity basketball and
baseball teams.
