The tanker was filling the school bus tanks and apparently some gasoline spilt. The truck backfired and the gasoline caught on fire. The fire was extinguished before much damage was done. Planning Board Meets May 13 The Polk County Planning and Zoning Board will meet Thursday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse annex. Revival A revival will be held at Jackson Grove Methodist church tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 each evening. Rev. Ray Smith will preach at the historic old church Jazz Band Here May 26 It’s all that jazz and then some at the Fine Arts Center on May 26. The Jazz Band appears that night, sponsored by NCNB as a benefit for the Center.
