has accepted a
landscapint project as a gift
from the Hanes Foundation,
according to a news release
from the university. C.C.
Ross, Chairman of ihe Board
of Trustees, announced that
the gift will beautify the site of
the new auditorium that is

Barbara Walters, co-host of

host of 4 'Tomorrow,'1 will
co-anchor a special (of men
and women) examining the
changing relationships between
women and men in this
country.
Among the provocative
questions the program will
explore are these: Are

marriages becoming obsolete?
Are the one-man woman and
the one-woman man no longer
acceptable? How has the
radical change in sexual habits affected
mate-inmate retationships?
Do extra-marital relationships
generate a psychological
boost, or do they, in the
long run, simply create more
frustration and depression?
How widespread are the

that will feature works by
outstanding black artists.
Tire new auditorium and
garden will be named in honor
of the University's president,
Dr. Kenneth R. Williams. The
auditorium is scheduled to be
completed in March of next
year. A dedication ceremony
is tentatively scheduled for

The program will examine
the increasing movement of
women into politics, the
degree of willingness of men
to give up traditional male
power, the concern about
"sexist" attitudes in many
textbooks.
The program will also try to
determine how lasting the
changes will be and whether
traditional views might eventually
prevail after reaction
sets in. Among the men and~
women whose views are being
sought are biologists, anthropoligists,
psychiatrists, sociologists,
marriage counselors,
politicians, business execun
tives, entertainers and authors.
