"Gospel Music has taken its
rightful place among the art
forms in America." The
speaker is the Gospel singing
giant, Rev. James Geveland
in an interview prior to his
concern at the Winston-Salem
Coliseum recently. A stirring
performer who has moved
audiences for thirty years,
Rev. James Cleveland sees
Gospel Music as a unique art
. form with broader horizons in
1 the future. "I do not sing for
money, 1 could make much
more money singing rock and
soul, but there is joy and pure
excitement singing the Gos
pel." He said that Gospel
Music has great rewards with
a message for many people it
touches the saved and
unsaved. Our music offers
encouragement to all through
* Jesus Christ, he said. "There
are so many things that affect
peoples lives and because
Gospel Music is totally
inspirational, it consoles and
revives."

"It is my goal to establish a

As he distinguished between

. Reach out dear hearts, and
touch the Lord. Hold His
banner high, Jesus Christ is
passing this way; don't let
Him pass you by. Teach your
children, train them soon,
show them Jesus' love- tell
them all they have to know,
especially His rules. We're all
getting ready to meet the
Lord, we're preparing for that
glorious day; when the groom
will come and take His bride,
the church, away. Praise Gotf
my heart, sing out His love,
hold tight to His every word.

For the. world, is soon to have a
visit, from the very God
above! St. Mark -13: Proverbs
22:6 ~ ?
Praise the Lord dear ones!
Each day brings the coming of
the Lord closer and closer.
Train your children in the way
of the Lord. Tell them about
the love of God. Jesus is
calling the young as well as
the old today. Help others to
know Him. He takes care of
our every need. We must stay
busy working because satan
has but a short time now and
he knows it. We're in the
midst of a war, but the battle
is the Lord's. Stand firm
soldiers, in this army of the
Lord!! May. God keep your
mind til next time.
