Miss Fussa, a black Puerto Rican has been in WinstonSalem since January and so far has been unable to obtain work of any kind. A person who loves the out of doors and is very athletic, Miss Fussa says office or secretarial work is not what she has in mind. "What I really want to do is work which will be challenging to me. Something that will keep me very busy." . "But, it seems that since I have been here, each time I apply for work, the prospective employer looks at me and then says, "I'll call you," she stated. Miss Fussa believes that many employers look at her and feel that by being a woman, she wouldn't be able to perform certain jobs.
