Funeral services for Mrs. Cora H. Winchester Maddox of 901 Camel Avenue were conducted Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Henry S. Lewis officiating and burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Maddox was born in Union County, N.C. but had resided in this city for the past 59 years. IShe was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she ^formeriy^served as a Deaconess and a membet~of the ? Senior IChoir and the Sunday School. IShe was a former | employee of R. J. Reynolds and Winston Leaf Tobacco Companies. She is survived by one daughter. Miss Summers was borln in Winston-Salem and attended the local public schools. Survivors are, two aunts, Mrs. A.
