Even his smile has a sense of seriousness about it and as far as his future is concerned, he’s already carefully mapped out his plans. “After 1 finish school, I want to go to b'orsyth Tech and study diesel mechanics,” says llyman, who plays linebacker for the Tiny Vikings Football league. “Hopefully, I’ll get hired; then I’ll save my money and open my own auto mechanics shop.” Hyman says lie’s not only looking forward to learning more about his speciality, but he says he hopes to dissolve any misconceptions he and anyone else has had about living abroad. ‘‘As a student am bassador for the U.S., I’m really looking forward to coming back and telling the community how people really live in Cjermany, that they’re not as bad as we think they are,” says 1 lyman. While in Germany, Hyman will be expected to act as an adult and assume responsibilties for all his ac tions. Not only will he be representing the United States as a goodwill am bassador, but other young Americans who hope to fill his shoes one day.
