third prize; and Mrs. Mary
Thomas, fourth prize. Con
solation prizes went to Mrs.
Eleanor Little and Mrs.
Virginia Scott.
Mrs. Mary Frazier was
awarded a plaque for
dedicated and outstanding
service to the unit.

presented by the president,

Christmas
Dinner Held
The Recreation Depart
ment coordinated the
Experiment in Self
Reliance Inc. recently
hosted a Christmas dinner
for senior citizens in the
auditorium at Sunrise
Towers.
Music was rendered by
the students at the Optional
Education Center. Later in
the afternoon, the Resident
Council held its annual
Christmas program, while
management stood in as
refreshment hosts.
A formal disco was later
held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The variety of programs
was coordinated by Sunrise
Towers management in
order to reach all the
residents at Christmas.
Funds for the activities
were raised from rummage
sales by residents and dona
tions from various
businesses.
